What Is the CME Bundle?
The CME bundle is one market data subscription that covers all four CME Group exchanges: CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX. It gives you real time data for the contracts listed on each of those exchanges, such as equity index, Treasury, grain, energy and metals futures.
The four exchanges and their main contracts
| Exchange | Examples of contracts |
|---|---|
| CME | E-mini S&P 500 (ES), E-mini Nasdaq 100 (NQ), Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES), Micro E-mini Nasdaq 100 (MNQ), Euro/U.S. Dollar (6E) |
| CBOT | 10 Year Treasury Note (ZN), Treasury Bond (ZB), Corn (ZC), Soybeans (ZS), E-mini Dow (YM) |
| NYMEX | Light Sweet Crude Oil (CL), Henry Hub Natural Gas (NG) |
| COMEX | Gold (GC), Silver (SI), Copper (HG) |
Contract examples are taken from the CME Group rulebooks for each exchange. Each exchange lists many more products.
Level 1 vs Level 2
- Level 1 (top of book) shows the best bid and offer for a contract.
- Level 2 (market depth) shows several price levels on each side of the market.
The bundle is offered at both levels. Your platform and how you trade determine which level you need. Our team can explain the options.
Professional vs non professional
Exchange data fees depend on your subscriber status. In general, a non professional uses market data for personal trading only and is not registered with a regulator or trading for a firm. You confirm your status when you sign the exchange data agreements. Professional subscribers pay different rates. If you are unsure of your status, contact us.
