4th of July Futures Trading Hours

Independence Day Futures Market Hours (July 3–6, 2026)

In recognition of the Independence Day holiday, many U.S. futures markets will follow a modified trading schedule on Friday, July 3, 2026. While most CME futures products will continue trading, several markets will close early or observe adjusted hours.

Banking Notice: U.S. banks will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. As a result, deposits and withdrawals will not be processed until banking services resume on Monday, July 6, 2026.

 

Trade Date: Transactions executed between 4:00 PM CT on Friday, July 3 and 4:00 PM CT on Monday, July 6 will be assigned a July 6, 2026 trade date.

Sunday: Trading resumes at 5:00 PM

Grain Futures

Thursday: Session ends at 4:00 PM

Friday: Closed

Sunday: Trading resumes at 7:00 PM

Cryptocurrency Futures

Thursday: Session ends at 4:00 PM

Friday: Session ends at 4:00 PM

Sunday: Trading resumes at 5:00 PM

Livestock Futures

Thursday: Session ends at 4:00 PM

Friday: Closed

Monday, July 6: Trading resumes at 8:30 AM
