Quick answerRithmic is a market data and order routing technology for futures. It is not a broker. Your account is opened with Lincoln Park Financial, and Rithmic connects your platform to the exchange.
Rithmic, LLC builds trade execution and market data software and has run it continuously since 2006. Its ticker plant takes in raw exchange data, normalizes it and streams it to your platform without throttling. Its order plant checks each order against your risk settings and routes it to the exchange gateway. A history plant supplies tick data for charting and backtesting.
Because Rithmic is broker and FCM neutral, the same technology is offered by many futures brokers. You can trade on R | Trader Pro, Rithmic’s own application, or connect one of the third party platforms listed below.

Want to use another platform as well? Start R | Trader Pro, click Allow Plugins before you log in, and keep it running. Your second platform then connects through the Rithmic plugin and shares the same login. This is called Plugin Mode, and our desk can walk you through it.
Use the platform you already know. Each platform below is listed as Rithmic compatible on rithmic.com or on the platform vendor’s own site. Your Rithmic market data, routing and risk settings work the same way whichever front end you choose.
